Home of the Star-Spangled Banner! Great for walking around and seeing the Baltimore skyline. Also a fun running route end destination from the hotel block (~8 miles round trip or ~4.5 miles to the Fort with a ferry ride back).
Inspired by the energy of the late 1950's and early 1960's in chic Italian cities like Milano and Bologna, Cinghiale boasts a lively urban bustle in the Enoteca (Wine Bar), and a comfortable elegance in the formal Osteria (Dining Room). Guests find themselves in a beautiful, yet comfortable space. The cooking is authentic and from the heart.
Since its founding, the Walters’ mission has been to bring art and people together and to create a place where people of every background can be moved by art. In addition to offering free admission to the museum and special exhibitions, the Walters is committed to public education, offering essential programs that help people to connect art to their lives.
We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for our first date, so art galleries and museums have always been a special place for us. BMA offers a diverse and internationally renowned selection of 19th-century, modern, and contemporary art. This museum is located in Charles Village, three miles north of the Inner Harbor, and is adjacent to the main campus of Johns Hopkins University.
Situated within the Baltimore Museum of Art, the main dining room overlooks a sculpture garden featuring works by Alexander Calder, Isamu Noguchi, and Auguste Rodin. Founded in 1998, the restaurant was on the vanguard of the farm-to-table movement and now has decades-long relationships with Maryland farms and fisheries.
Evergreen Museum & Library is housed in a Gilded Age mansion surrounded by 26 acres of gardens and woods. The museum is home to a renowned collection of fine and decorative arts, rare books, and manuscripts assembled by two generations of Baltimore’s civic-minded Garrett family (1878-1952). Visitors can experience the museum through guided tours that explore the Garretts, their extraordinary collections, and Evergreen’s transformation from a country villa to a hub for contemporary musicians, writers, and artists.
Local and farm-to-table. WK’s model prioritizes environmental and community impact and aims to support regenerative agriculture practices that respect the abundance and traditions of the region, while helping to ensure its future. That vision is paired with unparalleled hospitality and culinary excellence. Small restaurant, so we encourage making a reservation early.
