Philly themed bar downtown with great sandwiches & sweet potato fries! Hannah recommends the grilled salmon sandwich & Connor recommends the hot roast pork sandwich.
Ponysaurus Brewing Co. (Wilmington)
We stumbled in here in March when we were down here doing wedding vendor selections and it was the perfect place to grab some delicious garlic knots and a nice cold beverage in a friendly and welcoming beer garden/pizzeria. Grab a beer, try a cocktail, sip some wine and chow down on garlic knots and pizza!
Beer Barrio (Wilmington)
We first stumbled in here for the drinks sometime after Hannah graduated & ended up staying for the tacos & burritos. (This was also our first stop after visiting our wedding venue for the first time)

This is one of our favorite spots in all of Wilmington/Wrightsville NC. Sure it may look like a cheap taco bar...and it is! But that's what makes this place so special and great. When Connor would come down to visit Hannah during college and we barely had any money in out pockets, we always stopped at Islands and treated ourselves to the delicious salsa bar and sweet teas to wash everything down!
Cook Out (UNCW Campus)
If we weren't saving money with dollar tacos at Islands (see above), we were enjoying ourselves with Cook Out trays, Huge Teas (sweet) and Peanut Butter Fudge Cheesecake Milkshakes. Our go-to order is a quesadilla Cook Out Tray with onion rings and hush puppies. Why not carb load!?
