Our wedding is black-tie optional. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Women should wear ankle to floor length gowns, or a formal pantsuit. Bridesmaids will be wearing black. We suggest packing a coat - Virginia weather is unpredictable in March!
Our wedding is for adults only. We wish for our guests to have an evening without obligations! Our recommended childcare in Charlottesville is Monticello Nannies.
Our venue will accommodate food allergies. Please note if you have allergies when you RSVP.
We will have buses taking guests to and from the venue. The location and time of pickup will be listed on the Schedule page once confirmed.
We can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have been given a guest, that will be noted on your invitation and RSVP.
We have blocks at three fantastic hotels; The Draftsman, Courtyard Marriott, and Hampton Inn. Charlottesville has a number of AirBnB and VRBO rentals.
There is parking available at our venue. If you plan to consume alcohol, please use the provided transportation. We do not recommend relying on ride shares due to the location of the venue.
We will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and spirits from cocktail hour through the end of the reception. Canapés will be passed during cocktail hour and dinner will be two courses. Our venue provides the same meal for all guests with exceptions being made in the case of allergies - so you won't see a meal selection when you RSVP. Late night snacks and dessert will be provided to fuel us through dancing!
