Question

What is required to get access onto the Naval Base?

Answer

Guests will have to cross a guarded gate, similar to when you travel across the border. A full guest list will be provided to the Naval Base for entry on the day of the wedding. All guests over the age of 16 will have to show proof of ID to get access through the gate. Please remember to bring your ID or another Federal form of ID (non-drivers State license, Passport, etc.)

Question

What are the rules of the Naval Base?

Answer

It is important to remember that, while we will be in our own private area of the Base, this is still a Federal property. Please do not wander too far off of the property and stay within the area of The Officer's Club. While Marijuana may be legal in the State, it is not legal to carry onto and should not be brought onto the Naval Base.

Question

Will there be parking for guests who do not partake in the Shuttle service?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot at The Officer's Club that guests can use who choose not to take the Shuttle. For those that do take the Shuttle, there should be plenty of parking at the Hotel where the Shuttle will be picking people up at (see the Travel tab for more info).

Question

What kind of attire should we wear?

Answer

The Ceremony will be outside on an Oceanfront lawn. This means that we recommend guests don't wear Stiletto's/wear lawn friendly footwear. There is also the potential for various weather, such as lots of sunshine, but can also be breezy on the water. Please try to look at the weather ahead of time and plan accordingly! We recommend sunglasses, sun hats, and sunscreen! The rest of the evening will be spent inside.

For all the days along the way
