St. Louis, MO is a two hour car ride from where we live in Carbondale, IL. Car rentals are typically available if booked in advance. Erika, Jacob and family are able to assist with transportation to/from the airport if notified in advance.

This airport is a 1.5 hour drive to Carbondale, IL and can be less chaotic to navigate. However, you will likely have to purchase separate tickets for each leg of your trip as they do not fly in/out of AK/SEA.

Chicago, IL is a 5 hour drive from Carbondale, IL. They do have car rentals, or, you can make your way to an Amtrak station and take the train straight into Carbondale.
