Yes! The Aggie Spirit Charter will depart from The Texas A&M Hotel at 4:20pm to the Weinberg on Saturday, March 21st. The Aggie Spirit Charter will depart back to the hotel at 9:30pm and 11:00pm.
The dress code for the occasion is black tie/ black tie optional. For men, a suit is perfect, but a long-sleeve dress shirt and tie will also work great. For women, floor-length gowns, knee-length cocktail dresses, or dressy separates are all very appropriate.
While we love kids, our wedding weekend is going to be an adult event so that everyone can relax and enjoy. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids under the age of 12 at home so you can celebrate with us.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available in front of the reception site that is within a short walk to both the ceremony chapel site and reception site.
The wedding will take place at The Weinberg at Wixon Valley. The address is: 7786 Kurten Cemetery Rd Bryan, TX 77808 The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, regardless of weather. The cocktail hour will be outdoor/outdoor covered, weather permitting.
Mid-March weather in Central Texas is generally very pleasant with warmer average temperatures in the 70s and low in the 50s. However, we encourage you to track the weather with us because this is Texas and you know how it can be.
We understand most of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us on our big day so we have arranged for hotel blocks in College Station at Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center. While the hotel captures the Aggie spirit in a tremendous way, there are other options available in town as well.
No additional guests outside of the individuals listed on your invitation will be accommodated.
While you can fly directly into College Station Easterwood Airport, the most flight options are available at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), or Houston Hobby (HOU). Bush (IAH)- roughly 90 minute drive from the venue Austin Bergstom (AUS) - roughly 1 hr 50 min drive from the venue Hobby (HOU) - roughly 1 hr 50 min drive from the venue
Yes... but keep it cutesy and very demure. Feel free to fully enjoy yourself, the company, and the day! The bar will be open during cocktail hour and the reception.
