The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The wedding is during mid-October, so perhaps a light coat for the outdoor ceremony in the event that it is chilly. If raining, the ceremony will take place inside.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, guided by Deer Creek staff, where there will be light bites and cocktails served during cocktail hour.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least half an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

During the half-hour ceremony, we ask that this time be device-free, so that our wonderful photographer can capture the moments for us without many other devices in the background of our photos. However, for the remainder of the event, we encourage guests to post pictures to their social media channels! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HereComesTheBretneys so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
