Regan and Riley met in the Spring of 2014 at Gonzaga University through a mutual friend. Regan went to visit her friend's apartment and introduced herself to his cute roommate, Riley. Riley and Regan immediately hit it off and hung out or studied together the rest of the semester. They texted each other that entire summer break and had their first official date at Six Flags in August 2014 before school started up again. Life hasn't slowed down since then. They graduated from college, got a furry kid (Crosby!), lived in Washington from 2016-2019, and moved to San Diego for Regan's nursing school and Riley's dream job as a Software Engineer.

Regan and Riley try to picnic on the cliffs of Torrey Pines once a month for a date night, so it wasn't that odd when Riley suggested a picnic one Sunday afternoon. Once they arrived at the cliffs, he was extremely adamant about finding the "perfect" spot which Regan found to be very endearing (and a little suspicious). Riley found a beautiful secluded spot on a cliff and, while watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, he got down on one knee and proposed! Regan, of course, said 'YES!!!'. Little did she know members of the Permito and Harrison families were hiding behind them and her "yes" was answered by a chorus of cheers. It was the best day! <3
