Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at Semiahmoo where all wedding events will be taking place.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at the pier by 4:15 to ensure everyone can be seated to join this celebration. Unfortunately late arrivals will be asked to wait outside the ceremony space.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal. Ladies, we strongly recommend shoes that can navigate various terrains as you will be walking across a dock, gravel, and grass. A light jacket or wrap may come in handy if it's a cooler night.

Can I bring a date?

We are only able to accommodate the names listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Is the wedding outdoors? What about the weather?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, dinner and the reception will be outdoors beneath a tent. The Fourth of July weather in Washington is unpredictable! We will have heaters available if needed, but please come prepared for whatever Washington summer has in store for us!
