Our story

We went to the same high school in different grades with mutual friends groups. Mason worked at the local Buffalo Wild Wings where my best friend, Sydney, and I would go in quite often. Mason was our server multiple times and we would just chit chat with him while he worked. Then one day, in 2020, I posted a snap chat story about my new tattoo where he compliment it and we have been talking ever since. A lot has happened in the last few years such as buying a catering business but having to sell it back, living in a house with our two best friends across from our local bar (iykyk). Our dog, Grady was hit by a car in front of me but ended up being fine. We then got another dog Ivy who thinks she is the Queen of the family. About 2 years into our relationship I had the urge that I wanted to move, but he still had a year left in college. We decided that it would be a good test for us to do long distance for a little while and then he would move down to Tennessee after he finished his schooling, so that’s what happened. When he moved down with me in Nashville, we created a little life there! But with getting older we decided that we want to be closer to family and we recently decided that we will be moving back to Ohio soon. We are so excited to be starting our married life together and happy to be sharing with everyone we love!

Engagement story

08.16.2025

The day he proposed is my favorite day! My parents came to visit us for the weekend and we planned on meeting for dinner, or so I thought. We got all dressed up and hopped in the car. We were jamming and exited to get to the restaurant, but he ended up taking us down this twisty, curving road that didn’t seem like there would be a restaurant. He stopped at the bottom of this little park/hilltop and said he wanted to show me something he found a couple days ago with the dogs. I, of course, was saying that we didn’t have time because my parents were waiting for us. He eventually made me walk up the hill with him where we could see the entire skyline of Nashville - it was so pretty! He started talking about how he’s been so happy with the life we have made together and our growth as a couple. He got down on one knee and asked me the big question with the most perfect beautiful ring!! I was SO shocked I didn’t even say yes at first, I just dabbed him up (handshake) and said “omg you freaking got me!” (Up until then I kept telling him that he wouldn’t be able to trick me). Of course I said yes! He arranged to have Syd and his best friends there to take pictures and celebrate. He also somehow had 30 people come to a bar and grill to surprise me. Even my grandma made it down to Nashville! I was absolutely 100% surprised. I am still shocked that he managed to get 30 people to not spill the beans about any of it. He had family and friends set up an Airbnb for everyone to spend the night celebrating. He literally pulled off the most special loving surprise engagement “event” ever!!
