Riley and I met right before our senior year of high school, and we have my sister to thank for it. She decided to play matchmaker and kept telling me about this guy named Riley from Morehead who she had worked with at Cookout (yes, the fast food restaurant). Eventually, Riley reached out and got my number. At the time, Riley was playing soccer, and I was cheering, so we spent our senior year supporting each other from different towns while getting to know one another. Even though we didn't go to the same school, we quickly became each other's favorite person. After graduation, Riley moved to Lexington while we both attended college. That's when we really got to grow together. We experienced so many milestones, learned all of each other's little quirks, and built a relationship filled with love, laughter, and endless memories. The more time we spent together, the more certain I became that he was my person. On December 15, 2024, Riley asked me to marry him, and it was the easiest "yes" I've ever said. Looking back, it's crazy to think that one conversation with my sister led me to the love of my life. What started with a phone number became the greatest blessing and the sweetest love story I could have ever imagined.
