What is the address of the wedding venue?

The wedding will take place on the Beaver's family land: 450 Old Boiling Springs Road Shelby, NC 28152

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is set to begin promptly at 5:00 pm, please arrive no later than 4:30 pm to allow ample time to be seated.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both, weather permitting! If the sun is shining, the ceremony is set to take place outside with reception to follow indoors. Should rain occur, the ceremony will be moved to Poplar Springs Baptist Church with reception to follow back at the Beaver's land. Poplar Springs Baptist Church 1106 Poplar Springs Church Rd Shelby, NC 28152 Guests will be notified prior to the big day if the ceremony is moved to the church due to weather, otherwise, plan for ceremony seating outdoors by our family's pond!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is parking on site at the venue, however, carpooling for those local to Shelby is encouraged due to the amount of guests anticipated! If the ceremony is moved to Poplar Springs due to rain, there is also plenty of parking available. Please consider safety with driving to/from our event and have measures in place for responsible transportation if you plan to consume any adult beverages!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would appreciate semi-formal wear attire! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and cocktail dresses. We kindly request no causal attire (jeans, t-shirts, shorts, tank tops, flip flops, sneakers, etc). If you have any specific questions do not hesitate to reach out. Please come in your best dressed for the celebration of our special day!

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is worth more than any gift could provide, but for those that have asked, please check out the REGISTRY section on our website to view our home and honeymoon fund!

Answer

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! We will have additional transportation onsite for those who need assistance navigating the parking area to/from the venue.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue we unfortunately cannot accommodate extra guests and children outside of our current guest list. We apologize for any inconvenience and kindly request our big day to be an adults-only celebration!
