What should I wear?

Answer

We ask for modest and respectful attire for the ceremony. The reception is held in a non-climate controlled building. Because it will be in the spring the weather can be very unpredictable. It could be 70, could be 40, we don't have any way of knowing. Bring a jacket just in case. We are having a dance, so bring shoes that will be comfortable!

Is there parking?

Answer

The church parking lot will be used for the ceremony. The reception has parking both in gravel and on some grass, but it might be a bit muddy.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by March 31st if you will be able to grace us with your presence!

Question

Is there anything I should know about attending a Catholic Wedding?

Answer

This will be a full wedding Mass, including Holy Communion. Out of respect for the Catholic Church's teachings, if you aren't in full communion with the Church, we would love for you to share this moment with us by either praying in the pew or coming up to receive a blessing. To receive a blessing, which is common even among Catholics not receiving Communion, just cross your arms in front of your chest and the priest will understand.
