They met in screenwriting class their last year of film school. Riley remembers the moment Justin walked into the room like everything went slo-mo. Wind was blowing on him. He was glowing. There was an ethereal choir singing in the background. They had unassigned, assigned seats next to each other all semester. Just a few months later, Riley & Justin were Director and Cinematographer of their final thesis project. This is where Justin's love for Riley really flourished. Justin remembers seeing Riley in the golden hour light on a location scout at a beach in Malibu. He knew she was the one for him. They had to continue to treat each other as just friends throughout the remainder of the project...to stay professional, of course. They would spend nearly every day together for the next three months, scheduling "production meetings" even when nothing really needed to be done... Riley and Justin have been inseparable since. Now, they continue to work in TV Production, have two children (cats), and are each other's biggest fans. They have traveled together to Bali, Europe, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and almost 10 years in, Palm Springs has continued to be a frequently visited, and special place for them.
