THE WALDROPS

Jesse and Riley met at Church of God youth camp when they were in middle school. It was not until the end of senior year that they reconnected and began to date. Jesse grew up attending Riley's grandfather's church so she made sure to go to every youth event at the chance of getting to see him! Near the end of their senior year Riley was speaking to one of her friends about boys that they would date. She said that without a doubt if Jesse Waldrop would ask her she would say yes. A few hours later she received a facebook request from him and considered it "fate". She took a chance and texted him that night and their love story began. Riley lived in Maryland at the time and Jesse was in Florida so they would facetime every night until they finally got to see each other two months later. Riley told Jesse she would not date him unless he met her family and her parents approved of him. He spent the next few days with her family and they started dating shortly after. They both began to attend Southeastern University a few months later and have been inseparable ever since. After dating for a few years Jesse knew this was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He flew to Texas and set up a surprise proposal during a photoshoot they had. Riley had no idea that this was going to happen and was overjoyed when it did! Riley and Jesse are more than just a couple but are each others best friends. They cannot wait for the day that they get to say I DO and celebrate with all of their friends and family!
