From Riley's perspective: Izaak and I met at UNI back when he was a wrestler and I was completing my pre-pharmacy classes for Pharmacy School. Although nothing came of the time we spent at UNI it was later where fate struck. I was completing my pharmacy rotations while staying with my friend Emma Storm and we reconnected at a party with some of our college friends. After said party I swiped up on a snapchat story of a baby deer and said "is that bambi?" and that is how our love story began.

From Izaak's perspective: Riley and I met back in college through mutual friends at a bonfire. At the time Riley was finishing up her pre-pharmacy classes and I was wrestling and looking into getting a degree in PE. I remember meeting Riley at the fire and noticed how nice she was and how easy it was to talk to her, You could say I felt a connection with her. After that night it wasn't until a couple years later we rekindled the fire when we met up at a friends covid party. She was wearing a cowgirl hat and the rest was history.
Alexis Washburn

Alexis & I met in high school and quickly became attached at the hip. Between basketball & summer shenanigans a lot of time was spent together. Then fast forward to college we both attended UNI together and made countless memories there as well. Ever since then we have continued to be the best of friends and now that I have moved back we have been able to spend so much time together and enjoy this new phase in our lives. 2 summers ago I got to be the maid of honor in Lexy's wedding and now she will get to return the favor <3
Blaze Shedenhelm

Blaze is my older brother who lives in Florida with his wife Emily and two kids Wynn, and Riya. I have always looked up to Blaze and I have great memories of us going to the pool, playing catch in the street, golfing, and tagging along with his friends who are 6 years older. Blaze is someone I can always go to for advice. He always gives good advice but it was Emily who told me to bring the flowers. Blaze is my best friend and my best man.
Natalie Clark
Maid of Honor
Natalie is the best little sister a girl can have! From bonding over theater, movies, and books-- some say we look and act similarly although I can't notice it ;) Having a sister you can share special days such as a wedding with is such a blessing and I'm so glad to have Natalie be a part in our day. You also can find her absolutely humbling Izaak and I as we get older and less "hip" and her humor is unmatched.
Chase Shedenhelm
Best Man
Chase is my second oldest brother who lives in Texas with his wife Teddy and two kids Penelope and Paisley. I've always looked up to Chase and have great memories growing up playing football in the back yard, wrestling in the living room, and playing golf in the summer with our friends. Chase is always someone I can call up and get advice from and I always enjoy our talks especially when I also to talk to my nieces. Chase is my best friend and my best man.
Jacque Murray

Jacque and I have been friends since a young age. From growing up playing sports together to visiting each other at college we have made so many wonderful memories together. Jacque remains one of my oldest friends and it's so special when we get to spend time together since we live far away.

Ryan is Riley's younger brother and currently lives in Illinois. We bond over our love for wrestling, hunting, and sports. Ryan is a fun and energetic guy who always seems to be in good spirits. Look to see him on the dance floor to see his dance moves!
Madeline Clark

Last year I completed a pharmacy residency in North Carolina and Madeline was my co-resident. Without her the residency would have been much more challenging and it was because of Madeline I was able to do the amazing things we accomplished that year. So happy to have had a co-resi I got along with and can now call her one of my lifelong friends. Yes her last name is also Clark but no we aren't related and it truly was serendipitous we both selected that residency. Thank goodness we did.
Blake Steege

Blake is a friend of the groom. Blake and Izaak grew up in the same town together and became friends one day after a wrestling meet when Izaak asked Blake to hang out. From there on the rest is history. Blake and Izaak like spending time outdoors hunting deer, pheasant, and turkey. There have been many stories of Blake and Izaak out in the woods together--too many to count. Blake works for Denver Underground and likes to spend time with family and friends.
Allison Folin

Allison and I met in pharmacy school and spent a lot of time studying together but also making fun memories as well. She got the pleasure of living with me for a couple of years and through this got to know Izaak as the third roommate as well (sorry Allison). Thank goodness for friends like Allison that got me through pharmacy school and now has been one of my closest friends. Sadly we live in different states but it makes the time we can spend together all the sweeter.

Friend of the Groom Brady and Izaak met when Brady moved to Denver from Nebraska. Brady and Izaak were on the same sports teams football and wrestling in high school. Growing closer as friends they both realized they both liked the outdoors and now have been on many hunts together and hopefully many more. Brady lives near Waverly Iowa and works for Denver Savings Bank. Brady likes to spend time with his family and friends.
Emily Gajda

I met Emily or as we call her (Gajda) in pharmacy school as well. She is such a positive light in my life and will always make any experience entertaining. We also spent a lot of time studying and making awesome memories throughout school and she remains a close friend and joy in our lives. She bleeds black and gold and we love any excuse to get her back in Iowa.
Greg Schneider

Friend of the Groom. Greg and Izaak have grown up together ever since they were little, becoming closer after high school. Izaak lived with Greg for a year in Cedar Falls and spent time together watching sports, golfing, hunting and occasionally going to the casino. Greg still lives in Cedar Falls where he works for Veridian Bank and is also a realtor.
Emma Graen

Emma & I met in undergrad at UNI. We lived on the same dorm floor and have been friends ever since. After the dorms we lived together in a house and always visited each other after I started pharmacy school. She is such a joy and blessing in our lives and constantly brings love and kindness to everyone she's with. I am so grateful for UNI allowing Emma and I to meet and she played a vital role in the start of our relationship. Without her this day wouldn't be here! So grateful for Emma and our wonderful friendship.

Sam and Izaak met in North Carolina when they both were working at Bass Pro Shops. They both spent a lot of time shooting their bows, going disc golfing, and spending their time outdoors. They are planning a trip to go elk hunting in the fall and are looking forward to many more hunting trips in the future.

Jordan and I have been friends since elementary school and can always be found being goofy and laughing together. We have made countless memories together and it is so special to be able to share more as we both continue throughout various phases of our lives. So grateful we still live near each other and can make more memories together!

Friend of the groom. Blane & Izaak grew up together and made many memories together going to the Denver pool, playing fantasy football, and playing sports together. Blane recently moved back to Iowa a couple years ago and we are excited to have him back! Look to see this guy on the dance floor!

Adam and Izaak met at UNI where they completed the PE program there. Adam and Izaak have gone on multiple adventures together & both enjoy being outdoors. Adam had a little get together all those years ago and without that party, Riley & Izaak might not be together today.
