While we would love to have guests, unfortunately, if the person is not listed on your invitation we do not have room for them at the wedding. Our goal is to have a gathering of our closest friends and families, so we want to make sure no introductions are necessary!
We love kids and completely understand that this wedding is a destination wedding for some, so if it is easier to bring your kids you are more than welcome! Please indicate on your invitation whether or not your little ones will be joining you. Our venue is in a forest in the mountains, so all we ask is that if you bring your kids, please keep an eye on them or make sure they know where they can/ can't go for safety's sake!
Yes! Please see the registry tab (at the top of the website) for all information regarding our registry. Thank you!
Yes! But not super restrictive. I believe the term is 'garden attire.' Sundresses or button downs with slacks are perfect. Keep in mind our venue is in the mountains, so there is dirt and wildlife- so probably not the best time to wear your highest heels or brand new shoes.
No! We only ask that you refrain from wearing white, or too casual clothing like jeans and shorts. Thank you!
Please see the Travel tab for more information on hotels in the area! There is a large parking lot at the venue so there will be plenty of close parking. Additionally, if you chose to drink, we have four cabins reserved with bunk beds that are free! If you would like to indulge in alcoholic beverages, please feel free to crash at one of those cabins for the night. It will not be private, as there are five bunk beds in each of the cabins. If you are interested in carpooling from the airport, we highly recommend linking up with others flying in and landing at similar times.
Yes and yes! Please see the Things to Do tab and the Travel tab, respectively.
I know, I know, a little bit unorthodox.. but, so far not a single part of our relationship, especially regarding marriage, has been 'traditional,' so I guess it fits with the theme! More importantly, most of our family and many of our friends will either be in school, work in a school, or have kids in school. A weekend in the fall would've been tough for those people in our lives, so summer weekday it is! We hope you will be able to make it, but we do understand that a midweek wedding in a different state can be tough. If you are unable to attend, we look forward to being able to celebrate with you at a later date. And if you can come, yay! We can't wait to share the day with you.
