FAQs

If you have any questions that weren't answered here please reach out to either Elizabeth at (712) 348-0165 or Riley at (763) 244-4781. If you have questions on the day of the wedding we ask that you don't contact the bride and groom, so they can focus on enjoying their day together.
Question

When are RSVPs due by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 17! We want to be sure to give our caterer and venue a good heads-up to be sure they have enough food and seats for all our guests. If we do not receive your RSVP by May 17, we will not be able to accommodate you and those listed on your invitation.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we would love to be able to celebrate with all your kiddos, we just don't have quite enough space. The names of all kids invited are clearly listed on your invitation.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have Busch Light, Coors Banquet, and seltzers available for guests (21+) free of charge! Our venue also allows you to bring in alcohol, so if there's something else you would like to drink, go ahead and bring it along!

Question

Where should we bring/send our gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 605 S 2nd Ave, Rock Rapids, IA. A card box will be present at the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 4:30. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to get a parking spot and find a seat.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means that we ask you to keep your phones and cameras put away. We have a fantastic photographer (hi, Briana!) who will be sure to get all the good shots! If you have your own phones out trying to get pictures that can make Briana's job much harder!

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We will be having an outdoor ceremony (Lord willing) and an indoor reception. Should it rain, we will be having our ceremony and reception in the same space, so we will have a longer cocktail hour in order to get the venue rearranged.
