It all started on Instagram. Yes, you read that right we met on Instagram. I had just finished playing a softball game and posted a picture with a lot of unnecessary hashtags to let everyone know that we won our game. Later that evening Dakotah commented on my picture and said, "hey you're hot can I have your number?" Now, I should have been a little weirded out. I mean this random guy just wants my number. However, he was really cute so long story short...I gave it to him. Little did I know that that 14 year old boy would turn into my best friend and the love of my life. We talked for a few months and finally set up a time to meet in person at a Cordova & Oakman football game on October 7th 2013. The night we met was beyond awkward, we hardly talked to each other and when it came time to leave Dakotah had STILL not asked me to be his girlfriend. So, right before we left I pulled him to the side and said, "hey, um is there anything you want to ask me?" Talk about putting someone on the spot! He did ask me to be his girlfriend and 6 years later on October 5th 2019 he asked me to become his wife. I have been so blessed to meet the love of my life at such a young age. We got to experience learning to drive. Countless football, softball, and basketball games. We had the opportunity to go to four proms together and to watch each other graduate high school. We spent our first year of college together side-by-side in all of our classes before pursing our own individual careers. We have travelled across the United States to so many different places and we have seen so many beautiful things. Out of all the adventures we have taken together, this is by far my favorite. I can't wait to embark on this journey hand in hand. We are so honored and so blessed to have so many people who love us and support us.
