If you are flying in from other areas, Sacramento is the main airport, it is about a 2.5 hour drive to the meeting spot to hike in.
If you will be hiking out that evening, Lake Tahoe and Placerville are both about an hour in either direction on the main highway. There also are a ton of beautiful houses and cabins on Air BnB that are close by.
If you are choosing to camp, please let us know if there are ways for us to help you pack things in!
