IT'S GETTING REAL

Cory and Riley met at a local country bar in Tucson called the Maverick. Riley was with a couple of girlfriends that night and saw Cory on the patio playing cornhole with a few of his buddies. True to her competitive nature, Riley approached Cory (after some heavy pressuring by her friend Becca), and continued to express how she could easily beat Cory at a game of cornhole. He immediately accepted the challenge, and long story short, Riley lost terribly. The party continued to a dive bar next door, the notorious Cowpony, where somehow Riley's number had made its way to Cory's phone. The next day, Riley got a text from Cory stating how he enjoyed meeting her and would love to take her out on a date. Riley was a bit skeptical, and decided it would be best to go to the movies for their first date, in case she didn't really like him and wouldn't have to talk too much. At the movies, they couldn't stop talking, and ultimately they were much more interested in each other than what was on the screen. They continued their date afterwards and got gelato, where they learned more about each other. Riley was ready to stand her ground, and let this guy know that she was not looking for anything serious at that time. Cory, being very confident in himself (no surprise there) told her that whenever she was ready, he would be there waiting for another date because he didn't want to lose his chance with her. He was persistent, mildly clingy, and made sure to text Riley every day since then. Riley couldn't deny that she liked him the moment she met him, and easily agreed to a second date. From there, the interest grew and blossomed into a wonderful relationship. Over the past few years, they have gone on multiple trips, bought a house, gained many mutual friends, and have made so many amazing memories together. We are so incredibly thrilled to share our special day with all of you! Cory and I have had such a fun time (no actually) planning all of this, and are so ready to start our future together as a married couple. We wholeheartedly hope you all enjoy yourselves as much as we will, see you there! <3
