FOREVER AND EVER

Like all great modern romances, ours began with a swipe right—thanks, Bumble! At the time, neither of us was looking for anything too serious. Cody was living on the Central Coast, and Riley was up in Newcastle, but something clicked right away. It wasn’t long before Cody was making the trip to Newcastle twice a week—clearly, something serious was sneaking up on us. We officially became a couple on May 29th, 2022, and just one month later, life surprised us in the best way possible—we found out we were expecting a baby. Everything moved quickly, but it all felt just right. We moved in together, bought a house, and welcomed our daughter, Atlas. In true whirlwind fashion, we moved into our new home when she was just two weeks old. By our first anniversary, we had a three-month-old and a mortgage—talk about milestones! Then, in January 2024, Cody popped the question in the most perfect way. He proposed on the beach at Toowoon Bay, with a photographer hidden among the fishermen to capture the moment. Riley, completely clueless and being just a bit stubborn, complained consistently about not wanting to walk that far down the beach—clearly unaware of what was about to happen. Spoiler alert: she said yes. Now, here we are, ready to make it official and celebrate this beautiful and unexpected journey with all of you.
