Things To Do

We highly recommend that our guests take the opportunity to experience both Lake Washington, and Puget Sound during their stay. Each offers a unique perspective of Seattle's beauty and charm. Lake Washington – Known for its serene waters and picturesque landscapes, Lake Washington is perfect for a relaxing day on the water. Guests can enjoy leisurely boat rides, or simply soaking in the stunning views. Puget Sound - Is like stepping into the best of the Pacific Northwest. It's where water meets wilderness. Lake Union – Located in the heart of Seattle, Lake Union offers a vibrant urban experience. Visitors can explore the lake via boat tours, visit the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI), or stroll through Lake Union Park, which features historic ships and beautiful walking paths.

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

The Pike Place Market has been a defining Seattle icon for more than a century. Considered by many “the soul of Seattle,” the Market spans nine historic acres in the center of downtown where everyday locals and tourists alike shop, visit, eat and discover. Clark and I have been there many times and we will never grow tired of watching the guys throw salmon to each other and visting the unique booths of local artists. Finding the local flowers is always a must for us!

Puget Sound Express

459 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA 98020

Orcas, humpbacks, gray whale and more! Seattle’s most popular & well reviewed whale watching tours, departing from Edmonds, just north of downtown Seattle. Clark and I did this and enjoyed.

Argosy Cruises - Seattle Waterfront

1101 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101

We love Argosy Cruises. They offer 1-hour tours of Elliott Bay where the guides will tell you fun facts about the Seattle piers and buildings in the Seattle city skyline. They also offer 2-hour tours which take you through the Ballard Locks (you get to be in the boat as it passes through the locks!). Super highly recommended. Buy tickets in advance on their website below.

Washington Park Arboretum

2300 Arboretum Drive East, Seattle, WA 98112

he Washington Park Arboretum is a free botanic gardens full of so many trees and flowers. There's green even in the winter and early spring months thanks to our evergreens. Also check out the Seattle Japanese Garden within the grounds, also beautiful year-round. Clark and I have walked through the arboretum many times and we love how peaceful it is.

Bellevue Botanical Garden

12001 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98005

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is one of our favorite outdoor spaces, all year round. The area is open from dawn to dusk, every day, and entirely free. There is always plenty of landscaping and year-round greenery to enjoy. Also check out the Yao Garden traditional Japanese garden located within the Botanical Garden. *This location is outside of Seattle proper.

Duffy Electric Boats NW

25 Lakeshore Plaza, Kirkland, WA 98033
, 425-588-1716

There's nothing quite like a day out on a Duffy – just you, your family and friends enjoying the spectacular views while navigating serene Lake Washington in the quietest, easiest to operate boat you've ever experienced. We recommend to book in advance. info@duffyboatfun.com

Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI)

860 Terry Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109
, 206 324 1126

By collecting and preserving artifacts and stories of our diverse history, MOHAI highlights our regional tradition of innovation and imagination. This is one of Clark and I's favorite museum to go too.

For all the days along the way
