Are kids welcome?

We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free and take the opportunity to celebrate in style! Take the night off and celebrate like it's 1920!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We kindly request that you wear formal attire, such as a floor-to-mid-length dress or dressy separates, paired with a button-down shirt, tie, and slacks. Suits or blazers are optional. The venue does not permit the wearing of blue jeans or sneakers. Please refrain from wearing all white. We look forward to seeing you at your very best!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 11/01/2025. If changes need to be made after this date, please email carissa.rileykarpen@gmail.com. Make sure you book your hotel room by November 14th, 2025!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We want to ensure you can try our delicious food! Please utilize the RSVP to select your dietary needs. Our updated meal selections, catering to various dietary needs, will be available in October. You'll then be able to update the option that best suits you. You can edit your meal request and dietary needs until November 1st.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00pm. To arrive with enough time to socialize, get inside, and find a seat we recommend arriving no later than 3:45pm. Shuttle service from the hotel will begin at 2:00pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please message us with further questions.

Can I remove my shoes on the dance floor?

Answer

In accordance with standard health rules, all guests must wear shoes and a shirt. Shoes must always be worn on the dance floor. We want you to be comfortable and safe so feel free to bring a pair of flats to change into once the dancing starts!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

As our wedding will be held in Minnesota in December, please be prepared for potentially cool weather. The average high temperature during this time is typically between 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date and dressing in layers to stay comfortable. Consider bringing a warm coat, scarf, and gloves, especially if you plan to spend time outdoors. We'll keep you updated on any significant weather changes as the wedding approaches.
