Our Story
Caleb and I met in our high school choir, and we owe it all to our choir director. One morning, when we walked into the choir room, our director told us to mix things up and stand next to someone we didn’t know who was in a different voice part. I tried to play it safe by staying where I was, hoping someone new would come stand next to me. Instead, after everyone moved, our director decided to rearrange a few people. I was sent to the opposite side of the room and told to switch places with one of my friends.
I was extremely nervous to talk to the guy standing next to me, but then he turned, smiled, and said hi. Later that semester, during our Christmas concert, we were standing behind the audience and surrounded by babies. I leaned over to Caleb and told him how much I loved babies, and he told me he loved them too. We ended up talking about the families we hoped to have someday. After that moment, I developed a big crush on Caleb.
