Our Beginning

Who would've thought...

We met the most modern way possible: online—two thumbs, one screen, and absolutely no intention of falling in love. At first it was just messages. Sarcastic replies and jokes. A little overthinking before hitting send. Saying whatever we needed to so one would think the other was cool, and always wondering what the other was up to when we weren't talking. Our first date was how we knew that this was it for us. Complete chemistry and no awkward silence. We immediately fell in love and felt like we had known each other our whole lives. And we also kinda wondered how we ever went without each other before. Our love grew fast and strong with every moment, with each smile, late-night conversations, and comfort found in one another’s presence. It showed up in the mundane: grocery store runs, arguing over what to watch, and learning exactly how to make popcorn the "right" way with a whirlybird. We grew together—through bad days, big dreams, and the kind of laughter that makes your stomach hurt. Now it’s been five years. Five years of choosing each other. Five years of love that’s deep, steady, and still full of spark. We still laugh at how we met, still flirt like it’s new, and still feel incredibly lucky that one random online moment turned into a lifetime kind of love. Turns out, the best love stories don’t always start out the most conventional—sometimes they start with Wi-Fi and a dating app.
