The nearest airport is Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (approx. 30 minute drive). Tampa International Airport is an alternative option (approx. 1 hour drive). From there, you can take a rental car or uber to the island.

You don’t need a car to enjoy Anna Maria Island — many people explore by the free trolley, bike, golf cart, or on foot! Although, a rental car may be useful to get to & from airport and to our weekend events.

Can I stay outside of recommended rentals/hotels listed on the travel page?

Answer

Of course! We ask for your convenience & ours that you stay relatively close to Anna Maria Island. Some recommended nearby towns are Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, West Bradenton, & Perico Island.

Do I have to stay all weekend?

Answer

Absolutely not! We’d love to have you for whatever part of the weekend you can make it. Whether you can make it for just the ceremony & reception or the entire weekend, we’re so excited to celebrate together!
