Flight Information

We recommend flying to Cancun International Airport and utilizing the transportation services outlined below!

Travel Note

Air Transportation

1- Do not book a flight that lands to the Cancun Airport after 8:15 PM (the last ferry to the island is at 11:00 PM) 2- Do not book a flight that departs the Cancun airport before 10:00 AM. (The first ferry from the island in the morning is 6:00 AM, with a 6:20 AM pick up, you will arrive at the airport by approximately 7:30 AM.)

Travel Note

Ground Transport

We recommend using CARM to get from the airport to the ferry terminal. Transportation on the island is not included as private transportation companies are not allowed to operate on Isla Mujeres. When arriving to the island there will be a taxi stand to the left of the ferry terminal. The hotels on North Beach are a quick ride and range from $5-$10.

There are plenty of AirBnB or short term rental options throughout the island if you do not want to use a traditional hotel! We will be staying in Centro, close to restaurants and activities, but if you are looking for a quieter stay Isla has plenty of options!
