Answer

Please RSVP by May 30th! This helps us finalize all the details for our special day, including seating, catering, and other arrangements. We appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible!

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

At this time, if there isn't a name listed on your invitation, we kindly ask that you come solo. However, after we receive all RSVPs, depending on our final guest count, Riley or Alex may personally reach out to let you know if we can accommodate a plus-one. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:30 PM, so we recommend arriving at least 15–20 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled. We want you to be able to fully enjoy the moment with us!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony? Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony and simply enjoy the moment with us. Our photographer will capture all the special moments, and we can't wait to share them with you! We have given permission to one additional guest to take photos, but unless specifically asked by Riley or Alex, we ask that you keep phones put away during the ceremony.

Question

What can I expect at the reception? What can I expect at the reception?

Answer

Our reception is all about celebrating, relaxing, and having fun! There will be music, a bonfire, and games for everyone to enjoy. Whether you want to hit the dance floor, cozy up by the fire, or challenge someone to a game, we want you to feel free to enjoy the evening however suits you best.

Question

What should I wear?What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding attire is Summer Garden Party—light, elegant, and perfect for an outdoor celebration! While we’d love to see pastels, florals, and summery styles, the dress code isn’t super strict. For dresses, think flowy, summer dressy, and elegant. Suits don’t have to be light-colored, but we encourage guests to keep things breathable and comfortable. Since some of the event will be outdoors, we also recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking on grass. Most importantly, wear something you feel great in and ready to celebrate!

Question

What's on the menu? What's on the menu?

Answer

Our wedding menu is all about cozy, delicious eats! A local Harrisonburg food truck—Pizza Louise —will be serving sourdough pizza and little bites all night. Get a glimpse of what’s coming on Instagram: @scruffybakes!

Question

Answer

Yes! We are registered through this website. Simply head over to the Registry tab, where you'll find all the details. If an item isn't listed directly on the website, there will be a link directing you to the correct place. We are so grateful for your generosity.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the wedding? Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

This will be a dry wedding, so no alcohol will be served. We hope you’ll still enjoy celebrating with us through great food, music, games, and meaningful time together! Thank you for respecting our wishes, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be designated parking available for both the ceremony and reception. A parking attendant will be there to help guide you, so parking should be smooth and stress-free!
