When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP here on our website no later than October 7, in order to submit accurate numbers to the vendors. If you do not RSVP by this date, we will assume you sadly cannot make it. Please reach out to the bride with any questions or if you need assistance. Thank you in advance.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests may start arriving no earlier than 2:30pm and find a seat. The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm sharp.

What is the wedding itinerary?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at Alaska Haus in Caledonia, Michigan, of Kent County, on Friday, November 7, 2025. Guest Arrival & Seating - 2:30 pm Ceremony - 3:00 pm Social Hour - 3:30 pm Reception Welcome - 4:45 pm Dinner & Speeches 5:00 pm Cake Cutting & Parents Dances 6:15pm Open Dancing 6:30-8:00 pm There will be a short 'After Party' from 8:00-9:30 pm ~ featuring two producing DJ artists, specializing in Electronic Dance music, on the FrostyBoyz Funktion-1 sonic quality sound system. Attendance is not required if this is not your cup of tea, however, it is an exciting dance party!! *All times are subject to change until Nov. 1st, check back for the final schedule the week of the wedding.*

How soon should I book lodging?

Answer

We recommend booking your lodging to secure your location as soon as possible if you know for certain you will be attending. Be sure to check the cancellation policy! Reach out to the bride if you need assistance securing lodging.

Will there be transportation available?

Answer

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding day or weekend. We kindly ask guests to plan their transportation accordingly. For traveling guests, please see the Travel tab for transportation options from the airport. Uber/Lyft rideshare services are recommended from the hotels to the wedding venue. You could also rent a vehicle for your pleasure. If you require additional assistance, please reach out to the bride!!

Is there parking available near the venue?

Answer

For guests that plan on driving, there is free on-site parking. There are two lots on each side of the venue. Please drive safe! Overnight parking is prohibited.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, social hour, and reception will be held indoors. There is heating & air. There is an outdoor patio & several outdoor areas that may be utilized for photos, weather permitting.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please do not bring a plus one guest unless discussed & indicated on your formal invitation. Spacing is extremely limited.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We request that our wedding is an adults only experience. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may bring. The only exception we will be making is children in the wedding party & of the immediate family; If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Black Tie is optional, formal attire in moody jewel tones is encouraged! Make sure to consider the weather.

Are there any other events that I should know about?

Answer

You will receive an additional personal invite to any other wedding events if applicable.

Where are you registered for wedding gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, please see the Registry tab for information on registry items and The HoneyFund. You are able to ship directly to our home address if you choose to purchase something online. If you would like to bring a card or gift to the wedding, we will have a designated area by the cake!
