In 2018 we met through Shane being a lifeguard in a local neighborhood. When Riley was at the pool one day with her friends she was playing Post Malone next to Shane's lifeguard stand, Riley turned off the music and Shane said please turn it back on it makes my day go by quicker, the rest was history. Riley was able to get Shane's contact information from a mutual friend that worked with Shane. Riley and Shane instantly clicked and fell in love. Riley and Shane went on their first date at Sawnee Mountian Indian Seats, we hiked which later became a favorite thing to do on dates. Riley and Shane spend a lot of their time off-roading in Shane's truck, hiking, and spending time at the lake.

Shane proposed to Riley on December 27, 2022, in Chattanooga at sunset before dinner. Riley thought they were just taking pictures together, our friends asked Riley to come to look at the pictures that they just took, Shane stayed back while she looked at the pictures and went down on one knee, Riley instantly said yes. We can't wait for the rest of our lives together! We can't wait to celebrate at our wedding reception and ceremony in August 2024!
