Things To Do

If you’re making a weekend out of it, here are some fun ways to explore Boston while you’re here! Since September is peak season in Boston, we highly recommend booking reservations ahead of time so you don’t have to wait in long lines or miss out on popular activities.

Charles River Esplanade

Storrow Drive, Boston, MA 02116

If you want to take in some fresh air and beautiful city views, the Charles River Esplanade is a scenic waterfront walking and biking path right along the Charles River. It’s just a 5-minute walk from Beacon Hill and a great place to take a stroll, relax by the water, or even rent a kayak if you’re feeling adventurous!

Duck Tour

1 Science Park, Boston, 02114

For a fun and unique way to see Boston, we highly recommend a Boston Duck Tour! These amphibious vehicles take you on both land and water, giving you a great overview of the city’s historic sites and landmarks. The closest departure location to Beacon Hill is the Museum of Science (1 Science Park, Boston, MA 02114), just a short walk away.

New England Aquarium

1 Central Wharf, Boston, MA 02110

If you love marine life, the New England Aquarium is a must-visit! It features thousands of aquatic animals, including sea turtles, sharks, and a massive four-story ocean tank.
