Question

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Please only bring a plus 1 if your invite indicates you can bring one. We can only accommodate those invited, so if your invite does not include a plus 1, please do not bring any additional people.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 17, 2025. If you fail to do so please bring a chair and a sandwich as our final counts will be turned in by this time and we will not enough food or seating for those who did not RSVP :)

Am I allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

NO! We will be having an unplugged ceremony, which means absolutely no phones or cameras will be allowed during the ceremony. We have a great photographer who we trust to capture amazing pictures. There will be NO exceptions. However, we encourage everyone to take as many pictures as you please during the reception!

Is it an open bar?

Answer

No, we will have a cash bar rather than an open one. Please keep this in mind and come prepared. NO alcohol can be brought from outside of the venue. Prices: Domestic Beer - $4 per drink Wine - $5 per drink Well Mixed Drinks (uses house liquors) - $6 per drink Premium Mixed Drinks (uses higher priced/name brand liquors) - $7 per drink

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

NO! There is no outside alcohol allowed inside the venue. Not only can the bride and groom get in trouble, but so can the venue themselves. Please refrain from bringing in your own and plan on bringing money for the cash bar (prices listed above.)

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes, children will be allowed at our wedding if indicated on the invite and RSVP. We do ask that they are not running wild during the ceremony, but we would love for them to have fun and join us on the dance floor during the reception.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be taking place outside. However, if it's too hot or cold, everyone will gather inside the reception area, where they will announce when you can move outside to limit time in bad weather.

Honeymoons Dream (Gift Registry)

We've lived together for quite awhile, with all our pots and pans. And as we don't need homely gifts we have another plan! We know it's not traditional, and not the way it's done, but rather than a wedding gift, we'd love a bit of sun! So if you'd like to give a gift, and send us on our way. What is the dress code?

Dressy Casual. It will be a colorful wedding so think colorful! Don't be shy, patterns are welcome! Please no black, and the obvious no white ;) Please no shorts or athletic clothes/running gear.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We have created a room block at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Augusta. The block is only for the night of our wedding, October 17, 2025. To book a room please call the hotel at (316)-260-3006 and ask to book a room under the Minson Wedding block. ALL ROOMS MUST BE BOOKED BY SEPTEMBER 17, 2025 IN ORDER TO GET OUR DISCOUNTED RATE At the time of creating the block single king rooms are at $146.97 and double queen rooms are at $159.72. This includes the block discount. The price may change once it gets close to time, however, it will NEVER go any higher, only lower.

Our menu consists of Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna with meat sauce, a house salad, roasted green beans, and a breadstick.
