FAQs

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for getting to St. Andrew’s Cathedral for the ceremony. Following the ceremony, we will provide a shuttle bus to transport guests to the reception at The Inn at Laurel Point. If the weather permits, it is also a lovely 20-minute walk between the two locations.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Paid parking is available at both locations. Near St. Andrew’s Cathedral, there is street parking nearby, as well as a paid parking lot directly across the street where guests can park for the duration of the ceremony. At The Inn at Laurel Point, guests can find street parking, a paid parking lot at the top of the hotel driveway, and paid parking available directly in front of the hotel gates for added convenience.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Between both of our families, we are lucky to have many special little ones who are very important to us. As such, children in our families are welcome and will receive their own invitations. While we love all of our friends’ babies, with so many kids already in our family, we kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home so you can enjoy the celebration with us. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Given that we both have large families and have made many special friends over the years, we've carefully curated the guest list, with each invitation being addressed to the specific person invited. We appreciate your flexibility and can’t wait to share this special day with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding party will be looking pretty in pink, so feel free to lean into soft spring colours. Formal attire is encouraged.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We are so grateful for your love and support as we begin this next chapter together. As we are planning to move back to BC at the end of the summer, we have been kindly suggesting monetary gifts to help us get settled into our new home in Vancouver. That said, if you would prefer to give a gift, we truly value experiences of any kind and would appreciate something meaningful and memorable just as much.
