Their relationship is not only full of laughter and love, but also firmly rooted in their shared faith in Jesus. Rikki couldn’t imagine this day without her big sister by her side—it simply wouldn’t be complete without her.

Samantha—affectionately known as Sammi, Sammi Jo, or whatever nickname you choose (she’ll still talk to you)—is one of Rikki’s older sisters. More than just family, Sammi has been a guiding light in Rikki’s faith journey, encouraging her walk with Jesus and playing a pivotal role in helping shape her relationship with Christ. Known for her quick wit and infectious sense of humor (even if it occasionally makes people squirm), Sammi brings joy and laughter wherever she goes. But beyond the jokes, she has a deep love for people and a heart that truly cares. She holds a special place in both Rikki and JD’s lives, making her presence on their big day all the more meaningful.

Alyssa — or “Shalyssa,” as Rikki affectionately calls her — is Rikki’s little sister. Though they’re known at times for their stubborn back-and-forths, they perfectly embody the bond of close-in-age siblings. Over the years, they’ve shared countless laughs, late-night phone calls, and FaceTimes. Rikki always trusts Alyssa’s honest take on what’s cool and what outfit looks best. With her loving heart and lively spirit, Alyssa is sure to bring even more fun and joy to this special day.

Liz (Elizabeth is only used by her sister) has been one of Rikki’s closest friends for well over a decade. The two first met in high school through their church youth group, and over the years their friendship has blossomed into the kind of bond most people only hope for. Rikki feels incredibly lucky to have Liz in her life — and especially grateful to have her by her side on such a special day. She's creative, kind, and loves so deeply. You think you have a funny friend? You clearly haven’t met one of Rikki’s best friends, Dylana. Rikki and Dylana have shared many years of friendship — including the unforgettable experience of being roommates. They’ve bonded over their shared journey as healthcare workers, their love for memes, and their faith in Jesus. Rikki is so grateful to have Dylana by her side to share in the joy of this special day.

Lexi is another one of Rikki’s closest friends. She and Rikki share the lifelong honor of being proud weenie dog mamas — a title only Lexi, of all of Rikki's friends, truly understands the weight of. Lexi brings a sense of peace, wisdom, and fun to Rikki’s life, and Rikki will never be able to thank her enough for the love and balance she adds to every season.

Alison holds the special title of being one of Rikki’s longest and closest friends — second only to her sisters. Over the years, they’ve shared countless life milestones together: graduating high school and college, getting engaged, celebrating Alison’s marriage, welcoming her sweet baby boy, and now, celebrating Rikki’s turn to walk down the aisle. Alison is clever, witty, kind, and beautiful — the list could go on. She plays such a special role in Rikki’s life and is truly an essential part of this wonderful day.

Courtney, like many of Rikki’s bridesmaids, is one of her closest and dearest friends. The two first bonded over their shared love for Jesus, with Courtney playing a meaningful role in inviting Rikki to her former home church, The Well, in Austin. That church became an important part of Rikki’s faith journey — and was where she and JD began growing in their relationship together. Courtney is fun, thoughtful, and the go-to person for travel and sourdough advice. Rikki is so grateful for her friendship and couldn’t imagine this special day without her by her side.
Best Man
Jackson and JD were roommates in college for three years. The two shared countless experiences including Aggie Football, quarantining together, late study nights, and late rowdy nights. Jackson is an all around beast and a gem of a friend.

Garrett and JD have known eachother for almost two decades. The two became close in Boy Scouts and college, sharing many a movie night, study session, and adventure on the town. Garrett is also a top tier golf ball chucker.

Kresse and JD have bonded over many things but the most prominant hobby they share is music making. Multiple jam sessions and studio hours, (with some poker sprinkled in of course) are the highlights of Kresse and JD's friendship.

Chandler and JD share an enjoyment of fine wine, queso, scenery, and super smash bros. During Chandler's brief stint in college station, JD quickly learned that Chandler is an excellent chef, and an even better captain falcon player. Sire!

Ben and JD have a knack for creativity and making parodies of songs. Their spike ball team "whataserver" will always be one of JD's fondest memories regardless of placing dead last in their first and only tournament. Unlike spikeball, the two are a force to be reckoned with in Codenames.

Josh and JD's friendship began through basketball. JD will never forget waking up at 4AM to go drill at the gym and bond over dubstep. In College, Josh and JD were roommates for a semester and spent more time playing chess than studying. Suhp Phrah.

Caleb and JD grew close in highschool, sharing multiple hobbies, including basketball, boy scouts, piano, and super smash bros. JD has many memories of their time in college too, most notably the smelly smash bros tournaments and Civ V nights. Caleb is a true dawg and fun things happen when he's around. Even though it "may be an L" from time to time.

Matt and JD share a love for the outdoors, a propensity to hyperfixate and a disdain for artificial intelligence. On countless trips across the country, Matt has proven to be someone to talk to, laugh with, and vibe around. Matt is also the game plug, introducing JD and friends to countless bangers that we will always play.
