This is our FAVORITE Mexican food restaurant. Rikenna has been going here since she was in her moms tummy and has loved it ever since. She brought Ian here as soon as they started dating and it is now one of his favorites as well. There are a few locations. however the only good one is on Speedway (the address is above). This is a little farther from the venue but in our opinion totally worth the drive. Menu Recommendations: Tortilla Soup-Rikenna's Favorite (side of avocado and lots of limes makes it is perfect) #34 (Chicken Melt)- Ians favorite (double rice is the way to go) #22 - Cheese Enchiladas and a Chile Relleno #17- Alambre Tacos with Chilaquiles Of course they also serve complementary chips and salsa. The green one is Rikenna's favorite and the Pico is Ian's favorite.
This place is the bomb. Their shredded beef tacos and salsa is to die for. Come with a big appetite as their portions are big.
This is our favorite Italian food. They are known for their Joes special which is spaghetti noodles, provolone cheese melted on top, then red sauce and red pepper flakes. It is delicious and there will be leftovers as their portions are HUGE! Also make a reservation just to be safe they can get really busy.
This is a place that Ian showed Rikenna which is rare because it is usually the other way around. New Asia has really cheap and good Chinese food. Our go to's are the sesame chicken and orange chicken. Their cashew chicken is also good.
This is a favorite. All of their food is delicious and they have an assortment of different options. There cheese sauce is a must. Our top picks are the chili cheese dog, hamburger, italian beef, and you can never go wrong with their onion rings. They are also famous for their chocolate cake shakes.
This is a local chain staple. Their ranch on anything is amazing. They are known for a drink called an eegee, which is like a slurpy but also like a shave ice all at the same time. its very hard to explain therefore you should try it to understand. They always have strawberry, pina colada, and lemon. They also feature a flavor of the month as well. They have this chain EVERYWHERE in Tucson so no matter where you stay there should be one close by.
We just had a baby elephant. This is a great zoo and we would love to get a group together to go. Let us know if you are interested in going.
This is a great place to see all things desert. From plants, animals, and everything else in between. There is a lot of learning here and this is a great place to start.
This mission has been here before Tucson was every a city. This is also an educational stop and its free.
The children's museum is a great place to let the kids run around and be hands on. There is a fire truck and a police motorcycle that kids can sit and play in and so much more to explore. Admission is only $12 a person
This is where Rikenna graduated from. Yet another educational stop but there is lots to do on campus. Pack a picnic and go sit on the mall, go to the planetarium and look through the telescopes, take a walk through the beautiful campus, and so much more.
This park has a splash pad for the kiddos and it is open year round!
This is our touch of winter here in Tucson. It gets snow, has the cookie cabin, is cooler when the city is not, has a ski lift to ride even when there is no snow, and just is overall beautiful.
This is a popular local live theater experience for the whole family. Go to dinner at Little Anthonys then go see the show.
Enjoy a piece of the wild wild west with a visit to Trail Dust Town. This is also connected to a steakhouse called Pinnacle Peak. Make sure to wear a tie.
