Twister's Burgers and Burritos
Twister's has many locations, but they filmed the Breaking Bad Los Pollos Hermanos scenes inside a Twister's! Recommend the Green chile chicken Twister's burrito (comes on top of Twister's famous curly fries).
El Pinto Restaurant and Cantina
The most famous and well known restaurant in NM! Known for the atmosphere (recommend a seat in the patio), their authentic New Mexican style cuisine, and their MANY types of margaritas. Fun fact: Eric and Betsy Rightley got engaged here:)

Some of Madi's extended family own this amazing Thai restaurant! Madi even worked here as a server while living in NM. They have the best Pad Thai and Curry you will find. Living in 5 different states, Madi has yet to find a Pad Thai or curry to compare! This location is on our Historic Central Ave and walking distance to many Nob Hill shops!

La Luz Hiking Trail
he La Luz Trail is one of the best known trails in the Sandia Mountains. It is also one of the most challenging. The trail goes from hot desert landscape to cool Canadian forest, for a length of 7.5 miles one way. The elevation gain is 3,200 vertical feet. It is difficult and rewarding.
