Best Man
Wooskie, Jakeintosh, Jake the Snake, Snarlson. I've called him many names over the years, but Best Man is most fitting. Jake and I met working as counselors at the YMCA’s Summer Day Camp in 2006. We quickly became close friends and through the following years have been roommates, bandmates, concert buddies, project dreamers and close confidants. Jake is always full of creativity, positivity, humor and fun. After a day spent with him my face always hurts from laughing so much. Jake has been right there with me through all kinds of ups and downs and I couldn’t be happier to have him by my side when I get to marry Nichole.
Matron of Honor
My baby sister has been my partner in scavenger hunts from the early stages. We laugh, we cry, (sometimes we fight) but mostly we love. She’s my best friend and I’m so grateful for our lives together. I’ve learned so much from her and she’s formed so much of who I am. Ashley is an inspiration both in life and in fun. I can’t wait for her to stand beside me as I marry my new best friend. If I got to design a theme park (DREAM) Ashley would be the teammate I'd want by my side!
Groomsman
Chris and I were friends in middle school and high school but really solidified our close friendship as college roommates at WSU. We’ve been through a lot together, including some of the most intense amateur ping-pong battles this side of the Mississippi. Many of my favorite stories start with “Remember the time that Macky….” or “Macky came to visit and….” (Nichole has heard a lot of these). Chris is truly a sincere, loyal friend and, as one of the most charismatic fun loving people I know, the day always gets a little bit better when Macky is around.
Bridesmaid
From softball to singing, she's always ready to boogie with me! Although we knew one another when we were younger, we bonded in friendship post-college. From our early 20’s working together at a winery, to coaching together, sharing summers off and getting more dance parties started than I can count, she’s been with me through thick and thin. Gina has been my workout partner, competitive counterpart and creator of mass amounts of laughter. Gina’s the friend I want by my side during a zombie apocalypse.
Groomsman
Pierce and I have been friends since 2nd grade. Although we haven’t lived in the same area since high school, whenever we are able to get together, it’s like no time has passed. In our formative years, we played some sports, learned guitar together, got in plenty of shenanigans, recited lines from Wayne’s World on rooftops, and had some “best summer evers.” As adults, we added collaborating on several musical projects to the list. I’ve always admired Pierce’s humor, determination, ability to connect with people and his efforts to stay in touch despite distances.
Bridesmaid
Co-Workers to Co-Besties in 3 months flat! I met Crystal my first year teaching at Garrison. We took students on a overnight field trip and became fast friends. She's an amazing person who's always up for an adventure plus she's there to keep you safe with clutch snacks. I cherish our 'garden walks' and 'shaking heads' at our silly partners. If we were in middle school and someone picked on me. Crystal would be the first person I called.
Groomsman
Josh hired me at the YMCA my first summer of college. We discovered we had a shared interest in music which led us on a quick road to friendship. Since that time, Josh and I have traveled long distances to attend concerts, played music together, smashed a lot of yard balls, become team-cornhole tournament champions, and generally annoyed others with our nerdy music conversations. We even started the premier co-ed city rec league soccer team, The Booters, together! I can always count on Josh to be there when I need him or just to go have some fun.
Bridesmaid
I met Dana through Crystal but she has quickly become my most trusted confidante. When Crystal and Dana first started dating I was SO pumped. Dana is funny, smart, competitive and a baller at the DJ table. She's the person I go to when I need advice on anything from picking an emoji to selling my first house. She loves the outdoors and is a fierce friend. If I was lost in the woods, Dana would be who I could wander around lost with and not be scared of starving, freezing or being bored.
