Chatham Lighthouse Beach
One of our favorite beaches on the Cape. Located in the town of Chatham, a 5 minute drive from Chatham Square. It is located across the street from a small Coast Guard Station and the Chatham Light lighthouse. This area was not much of a beach until the Great Barrier Beach broke due to pounding storm swells and hurricanes. The Chatham Break, as it is called, is a growing ocean channel between Nauset Beach and Monomoy Island. Beach grass, small dunes, and million-dollar homes surround the vast sand beach.
Main Street
Chatham offers an exceptional number of unique shops to find the perfect gift or memento that will remind you of your trip to the Cape. Whether you’re seeking an unusual souvenir, a T-shirt, fine art, jewelry, or specialty foods, you are sure to find it at one of our many shops. Chatham has become a shopping destination for browsers and buyers alike, from Cape Cod and beyond. The unique Chatham town center offers a walkable 1 mile stretch of upscale stores, galleries, and boutiques that everyone will enjoy. Since we are located in downtown Chatham within walking distance to all the shops, we wanted to break down all of our favorite, walkable, must-shop stores for guests. Chatham Squire
One of our favorite restaurants/bars on Main Street in Chatham. The Squire has a large indoor and outdoor space with plenty of games to keep you entertained. They are famous for their mouthwatering burgers!
Ruggie's Breakfast and Lunch
Ruggie’s Breakfast and Lunch is located on Main Street in Harwich. It's a local favorite for breakfast and lunch on the Cape. They are open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week year round from 6am-2pm. Breakfast is served all day long and they are opened year round.
Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge
Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge is one of the eight refuges that comprise the Eastern Massachusetts National Wildlife Refuge Complex. This refuge protects habitats critical to the survival of migratory birds, horseshoe crabs, tiger beetles, gray seals, and other wildlife. Monomoy NWR also includes the Monomoy Wilderness, protecting its unique character while providing an opportunity for the public to experience the beauty and resources this place provides.
