We're Getting Married!

Our story began the summer of 2019. Jenny was swiping on Match.com and came across a message from a guy named Justin. He was a critical care nurse who loved dogs. “Hey there! So what department do you work in?” After a few days of texting they quickly set up their first date. They talked until the resturant closed that night. There was instant chemistry and they both knew they found something special. Even their dogs Tucker and Chloe loved each other the first time they met. They made things official on 9/19/19 National Paw Paw day! And like Jenny, I’m sure some of you had never heard of a Paw Paw fruit before. Justin introduced them to her and she quickly became obsessed with the tropical tasting fruit. Over the next year they spent time getting to know each others families and talked a lot about the future. They encouraged and supported each other through through the ups and downs of life including career changes, selling a house, and a world wide pandemic. Their favorite labor of love has been renovating a 200 year old farm house that will soon become their forever home! On September 23, 2020 Justin took Jenny to plant Paw Paw saplings at the farm. While kneeling down to plant one of the small trees, Justin nervously pulled out a ring and held it up to Jenny. As she stood there in complete shock Justin said “I want to plant roots with you. As these trees grow, our love will grow and as these trees bear fruit, we will bear fruit. Will you marry me?” Jenny started crying happy tears and said YES!!! The best is yet to come!
