Nolan and Abby met at her cousin's high school graduation party at the local bakery in Canby, MN. Nolan stayed late to help clean up so he could have the opportunity to meet Abby. They began texting and facetiming, and after a few dates in Mankato and Canby, became official! They spent their senior year visiting each other on the weekends and then began college together at South Dakota State University. There Nolan pursued a career in nursing and Abby studied to become a pharmacist. They both worked together as Community Assistants (AKA dorm monitors) for three years and attended many sporting events at SDSU. Nolan graduated in December 2023 and now works as an RN at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. The following summer, they got engaged at Abby's family lake cabin so extra family members could watch from Heaven. Abby graduated with her Pharm.D. in May 2025 and is now completing a year of residency at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Nolan and Abby hope to start their life together in Sioux Falls and see where life takes them afterwards!
