We recommend using Uber or Lyft to get from ceremony to reception venue, and suggest leaving your car in Parking garage by City Hall.
If your invitation says and guest then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Semi Formal/ Cocktail or Indian traditional. But, we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button too tight, let it all hang loose.
There are two closest parking lots, at the Palace of Fine Arts: 1) “CalTrans Parking Lot”, on Palace Drive, is owned by CalTrans, and not the SF Rec and Parks Dept. Use of that CalTrans parking lot cannot be guaranteed at any given time, but the last time the officials at The Palace of Fine Arts checked, the parking lot is open, and anyone can park there. 2) There is a smaller parking lot "Little Marina Green Parking Lot", is owned by SF Rec and Parks. Parking in the Little Marina Green Parking Lot is also first come, first serve and not guaranteed, and also about a 3.5 block walk to the Rotunda. 3) The closest parking to the Palace of Fine Arts Rotunda, is the public street parking, which borders the park. Street parking is always first come, first serve and not guaranteed. Uber or Lyft is always a great alternative to getting around in San Francisco.
