Zach and Leah met at the University of Wisconsin Stout through a mutual friend. They went on a couple of dates and realized the timing just wasn’t right. Shortly after Zach moved to Florida to live out his dream of working in the theme parks, Leah also decided follow her dream and move to Orlando. The two met back up again and the rest is history!

In January of 2020 Zach and Leah were introduced to Cypress Gardens, a quiet reserve near Lake Eloise in Winter Haven, FL. It is absolutely beautiful and romantic, and Zach and Leah both knew this was a special place. On August 11th, 2020 Zach took Leah on a trip out to Cypress Gardens. Under the tall beautiful banyan trees in the 90 degree heat Zach proposed to Leah. The ring Zach proposed with is very special because the stone is his grandma's wedding diamond. It couldn't have been more perfect!
