We are getting married!

It all began in 2017, when we found ourselves in the same high school newspaper class. That May, a field trip to Pleasure Pier in Galveston became more than just a day by the sea—it became the start of something unforgettable. Nikki had a not-so-subtle plan: talk to Ricky. (Spoiler alert: it worked.) She crafted a totally casual excuse to strike up a conversation, and somehow, that awkwardly perfect moment turned into something real. Since then, we've been through just about everything life could throw at us—long-distance calls, late-night talks, celebrations, challenges, and everything in between. Desde entonces, hemos vivido casi todo lo que la vida nos ha deparado: llamadas de larga distancia, conversaciones hasta altas horas de la noche, celebraciones, desafíos y todo lo demás. Y ahora, después de años de crecer juntos, estamos muy emocionados de convertir esa primera chispa en una vida de amor.
