Where do I fly into?

Answer

We suggest flying into Athens International Airport (recommended as it’s cheaper than flying into the Cycladic Islands) or you can fly into Santorini, Mynkonos, Naxos, Paros or Crete. Hopper or Google Flights are great tools to track flight pricing. *Note- Now is a good time to buy. Currently, according to Hopper, flights to Athens are projected to vary over the next three months but will likely cost more if you choose to wait.

Passport?

Answer

Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your departure date. However, having 6 months validity remaining will help you avoid any potential travel issues if you were to venture elsewhere in Europe that has stricter passport laws.

Currency?

Answer

The euro is the currency used in Greece so you’ll need to swap your dollars. Cash makes up the majority of transactions but credit/debit is also widely accepted. Keep in mind that some places offer discounts if you pay in euros!

How do I get to Ios?

Answer

Once you’re in Athens, you’ll need to take a ferry to get to Ios https://www.ferryhopper.com You can go round trip back to Athens or one way if you choose to island hop *We recommend booking this at least 3 months prior. We will update with our selected time. *It’ll take a 4 hour ferry ride to get to Ios from Athens. Grab Dramamine and check out their cafe!

Getting around in Athens?

Answer

You can schedule rides to and from the airport/ferry ports with your hotel for an extra fee. Rideshare, such as Uber is available in Athens or you can rent a car. The Titania is also located next to the metro. If you wish to take it to the Acropolis, it’ll cost about $2 and you’ll take the M2 (red line) directly to the "Acropoli" station. From there, it's a short walk to the Acropolis. Metros run every 3-5 minutes and can be purchased at the station

Answer

No, we are not allowing kids. Time for mom and dad to have a vacation!

Getting around in Ios?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for you in Ios for a fee of $4 per person per route. They’ll arrive to pick you up at the port, transport you to and from the wedding venue and drop you back off at the port at the end of the trip. Wedding day transport is on us 🤍
