I met Shanika at FAMU in the fall of 2009 as we both were nervously trying out for the same dance team. Almost 15 years later and we're still thick as thieves (pun intended). At the wedding you'll find me crying in a corner, hyping up the bride, or wherever Shanika needs me. From Diva sisters to real life sisters we've shared so many of life's special moments and I can't wait to share this special moment as your right-hand man aka Matron of Honor.

I am Kwanteria Dukes, the Godbaby mama to Ricky and Shanika’s one and only child, Raegan Glover. Meeting Shanika my first day at Raines my junior year of high school, being roommates throughout college at THE Florida Agricultural Mechanical University, becoming dance sisters for DIVAS Dance Team, long car rides, electric bill issues and growing in womanhood throughout the years prepared me to take on and master the role of acting as Shanika’s Maid of Honor. Even though I crashed your car and almost caused a fatal car accident (on two separate occasions) you still trust me to ride with you on this journey! It’s proof I’m riding til the wheels fall off Ace! Shanika, your loyalty, patience, consistency, kindness and so many other beautiful qualities matched with Ricky’s is the perfect recipe for an everlasting forever. It’s up and it’s stuck!!

I am Krystal, one of the Maid of Honors and one of Shanika’s three BEST friends! I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where I earned my BS in Business Administration. I joined an organization called Divas Dance Team in 2010 and was introduced to Shanika. Immediately we hit it off and have been Fav’s ever since! I love my best friend SO much! I am honored and blessed to witness the Union of her and my new brother in law, Ricky.

My name is Regina, known as Gina. I am 30 years of age. Something about me is I’m goofy, fun and very family oriented. I love hanging out doing fun things such as bowling, going to eat, going to the mall and also having cookouts. I’ve known Peaches (the bride) since I was born. She was one of my first best friends before I even knew what it meant. We met through our parents (lol). My role in the wedding is the lit bridesmaid. Something I would like to say to the bride is a successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. I wish you guys nothing but the best in your future endeavors!

My name is Geri, I met Shanika 6 years ago when I became the love of Bruce Seymore, her brother. As Shanika would say we’re locked in! I’m a social butterfly with a heart full of gold. I’m the life of the party! I love planning trips and building memories with my loved ones. I have 2 beautiful kids, Aunesti S. and Breyonne S. I was super excited when Shanika asked me to be a part of her big day. My goal is to make sure nothing goes wrong in the process! Ricky and I met in 9th grade and have been thick as thieves ever since. Most may say we’re like night and day but that’s what makes the perfect duo. Ironically, we both have little girls that have already became the best of friends. We’ve managed to remain very close as we’ve grown into adults, and I’m very grateful for that. Thank God I’m the best man because if not, I wasn't coming to the wedding.

I attended Edward Waters College as a Mass Communications where I met the Groom. Ricky and I were college dormmates, but often referred to one another as brothers. I am originally from Atlanta GA. I have been married for five years. My wife and I share a beautiful daughter named Olivia. I am currently a Financial Aid counselor at Kennesaw State University. Ricky has been one of my good friends for nearly a decade now after first meeting in college. Ricky and I both majored in Mass Communications and worked on many class projects together. When not in school we would either be hanging out at a party or hosting a cookout. Ricky has truly been a great friend and I am honored to stand with him to celebrate this day. Side note I love to dance and will be one of the first ones you’ll see headed to the dance floor!

I'm from Eatonville, Fl and Ricky and I have been friends for over a decade now; Time flies! We met on the campus of Edward Waters University where we both majored in Mass Communications. Ricky quickly became a great friend of mine. We shared countless times of laughter, sports debates, hosting kickbacks and parties. Let’s not forget the late night runs to Dennys. It is truly an honor to stand beside Ricky on his wedding day!
