Norfolk International Airport

2200 Norview Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23518

For our lovely out of town guests flying in, The Norfolk International Airport is located about a 45 minute drive from Cape Charles. There are taxis and Ubers/Lyfts available, as well as car rental services located at the airport. There is a local car/taxi service in Cape Charles as well that can be booked via phone call. More information on this car service can be found at: https://capecharlesvirginiascape.com/directory/cape-charles-cab-cart-and-carriage/

Driving

For those that are driving to Cape Charles, depending on the route you take you may have the opportunity to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, which is the longest bridge on this side of the Mississippi (and 4th longest in the United States!). It's a very flat and low bridge, however, for those that may feel uncomfortable driving over bridges, the CBBT provides a free, scheduled drive-across service for those travelers who are fearful of traveling om bridges and through tunnels. 24-hour advance notice is requested and the customer is responsible for the one-way toll; however, there are no additional fees for this service.

Train

For those coming from D.C., New York, or another city, there is an Amtrak train that runs to the Norfolk Station, which is about a 45 minute drive to Cape Charles. From there, a taxi, Uber/Lyft, or car service can be taken.
