It all started with a Bumble match—where, despite the app’s rule that the woman sends the first message, I sent a very generic “hello.” Somehow, that was enough. Our first date was at The Cabin in NYC, where I was 40 minutes late (I swear I’m working on more timely arrivals). He waited patiently outside, casually chatting with his mom when I finally arrived. Later that night, at Mr. Purple, sitting on the rooftop while the NewYork City glow was in full effect he pulled out a note on his phone filled with dad jokes—yes you read that correctly. I should’ve known then that life with him would always be full of laughter. After a few vacations together, we made a bold decision: a year-long road trip. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we knew if we didn’t go then, we might never get the chance again. During this adventure in the breathtaking red rocks of Sedona, he asked me to spend forever with him. I was completely surprised, but saying yes was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Now, we’re back where it all began, getting married in New Jersey. We chose this place because we wanted the people who have been part of our journey to celebrate with us, without the distance standing in the way. More than anything, we hope our wedding feels like love—where two families truly become one and everyone who has shaped our story feels at home in it. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
