From shopping and going out to eat to bowling nights and working together at Lotus Express and Planet Fitness, we’ve done just about everything side by side. We’ve even been mistaken for sisters more times than we can count—and honestly, we pretty much are. She’s my sister by choice, and I’m so lucky to have her in my life.

Tana and I met in 2023 through Ricky’s friend group, and we quickly became inseparable. She’s always there to listen, support, and bring a positive energy to every moment. Tana is currently studying to become a dental hygienist, and I can’t wait to celebrate with her when she earns her license and degree—one more special thing we’ll have in common!

Sarah and I met in 2020 during dental hygiene school, where we quickly became study buddies and helped each other through long days of classes and clinic. She always knew how to brighten my day—often showing up with breakfast or a sweet treat to satisfy my sweet tooth. Outside of school, we love spending time chatting and walking Koda together. In 2027, I will be her bridesmaid and be a part of her wedding. I’m so grateful to have her by my side as my bridesmaid and know she’ll make my wedding day just as special as every moment we share together.

Ricky met Logan online when he was 15, bonding instantly over their shared love of gaming on Xbox. Countless school nights and weekends were spent playing and laughing together, forming a friendship that easily overcame the miles between them. Over the years, Ricky has visited Logan in Louisiana multiple times, and last summer, Logan made the trip to Michigan to spend time with us. When they’re together, it feels like no distance has ever been there at all.

Ricky met Blaine through Logan when he was 16, and the three quickly became just as close as lifelong friends. They bonded over countless hours of gaming and late-night conversations, building a friendship that felt effortless from the start. Ricky has visited Blaine in Louisiana twice—experiencing unforgettable Mardi Gras adventures—and Blaine has also made the trip up to Michigan. Whenever the three of them are together, it feels like they’ve known each other forever- like childhood friends. No matter the distance, Ricky knows he can always count on Logan and Blaine.

Ricky met Brendan when Ricky’s dad and Brendan’s mom were dating, and at just 13 years old, the two quickly became inseparable. Whether hanging out every other weekend or just finding something fun to do together, their bond grew strong and effortless. To Ricky, it felt like gaining the brother he never had.
