Hey! Eva here. In 2017, I met Ricky at work, not knowing just how much those moments would shape our future. We began dating in 2018, the following year, and then in 2019 moved into our first apartment together. Then came 2020, and like everyone else, we spent most of it at home. In 2022, everything seemed to happen at once: I started a new position at work, we bought a house, moved in, and Ricky proposed. Three years after getting engaged, we finally found the right time and the right way to make it official. A lot has changed over the years, but what’s always stayed the same is the connection we’ve built—one grounded in shared values, mutual respect, and the kind of love that shows up in both the big, exciting moments and the quiet, everyday ones. While we would have loved to celebrate this moment with all the people who matter most to us, life—and everything that comes with it—led us to something smaller and simpler. So here we are—choosing something personal and meaningful.
This September, Ricky and I have planned an elopement ceremony for just the two of us in downtown Portland. We promise that pictures will be shared as soon as possible afterwards! Then, everyone is invited to celebrate with us at a casual reception at Main City Park in Gresham, Oregon. Keep an eye out for save-the-dates. Thanks for being part of our story.
We’re so grateful for your love and support. In lieu of traditional gifts, we’ve created a honeymoon fund to help us celebrate this new chapter. Your presence in our lives means the most, but if you’d like to contribute, you can find it here _________.
